The Transport waxed jacket, formerly called the Beaulieu or Transporter, first appeared in the collection in 1999. This simple, minimalist design jacket, influenced by mountain biking, incorporated the primordial elements of its ancestors, the Bedale, Beaufort and International jackets, while adopting a new reduced A-line silhouette. Made from traditional 6oz waxed cotton, the Barbour Women's Transport Jacket features a loose fit combined with two hand-warming pockets, and has a storm-proof inner skirt ensuring maximum defense against external conditions.
