The GA-V01, with its organic design integrating elements with clearly defined contours, has a large LCD screen and the new Shock Release Hand, a latest generation hand designed to attenuate impacts. It's also equipped with other innovative features that showcase G-SHOCK's iconic toughness.

The module is protected by a central case, covered with an exterior which incorporates a bezel and a bracelet. In addition, prominent indexes are superimposed on the glass to soften impacts. To achieve this, we have developed a magnetic holding device, a design where the needles, sensitive to impacts, are not directly connected to the stem but are fixed using a magnetic force. This magnetic attachment gives the minute hand, the Shock Release Hand, the ability to effectively absorb and dissipate shocks. 

Due to its both analog and digital nature, the watch has an LCD screen as well as a perforated metal dial which embellishes the object by introducing areas of transparency. The originality of this remarkable design is underlined by the oversized hour and minute hands in the center of the watch, as well as the hand positioned in the center of the LCD screen.
