The Graine x Paraboot shoe is designed from a total pattern on a bird-shaped board, which makes it possible to create this unique handmade shoe.

The shoe, featuring Navy vegetable leather, demonstrates mutual know-how and commitment. It is a vegetable-tanned calfskin, originally from Italy. Plant-based tanning is ecological and harmless, it gives the leather remarkable supple and exceptional properties. The covering is in goat leather, treated with chrome.

The laces are made from recycled organic cotton. The welt is also made of vegetable leather. The natural rubber sole is formed and vulcanized in the workshops.

The shoe is made in France using the traditional Paraboot method, which has been able to adapt its production over time while maintaining a constant level of demand. This story does not go back to yesterday: four generations have taken turns to maintain exceptional French, artisanal and industrial know-how. The Michael model, emblematic of the brand for eighty years, is a basic derby with a flat sole, characterized by its bead and its two eyelets. Initially, this model was designed in the immediate post-war period, with the objectives of simplicity, functionality and robustness.

Graine is extremely honored to have found the perfect match with the renowned shoe manufacturer.

As part of this collaboration, Chloé designed a collection featuring denim and cotton essentials. The pair of derbies can be matched with a one-size T-shirt, a jacket, pants and socks decorated with an embroidered bird.
