Artefact

Artefact came into being thanks to the collaboration of enthusiasts of outdoor activities and product design. After spending time piloting, driving, traveling, and maintaining our own devices, they realized a fundamental truth: even the most sophisticated devices eventually get abandoned, either because of a small issue or because they can no longer be repaired. Instead of throwing them away, they began recycling these materials to make bags and various accessories. What started as an experiment among friends gradually turned into a business. Currently, their team is composed of diverse profiles: designers, product developers, and outdoor sports enthusiasts, all united by a common goal: to create durable and practical products while offering a second chance. Each year, the outdoor industry generates tons of technical materials that are complex to recycle. At Artefact, they opted to subsequently combined into new items, in collaborative workshops. They specialize in the manufacture of technical products, and their geographical presence is distributed as follows: 80% in Portugal, 15% in France, and 5% in Slovakia.
