SERGIO TACCHINI

Born on May 30, 1938, in Novara, in the Piedmont region of Italy, Sergio Tacchini is a fashion designer and tennis player. He was an active member of the Italian Davis Cup team from 1959 to 1966, during which he won the Italian championship three times and claimed victories at the Nice and Tunis tournaments in 1964. Towards the end of his career, he launched a sportswear brand bearing his name, based in his hometown, which has been hugely successful.
