G-SHOCK is teaming up with EVANGELION, the iconic animated series that captivates the world, to mark the 30th anniversary of the original television broadcast.

This special issue was developed by Ikuto Yamashita, the mechanical designer of the EVANGELION series. As part of this exceptional collaboration, Yamashita has designed an original work that captures the intensity of the immersive universe of the series.

The GA-110, which was also used in the first collaboration with EVANGELION in 2010, serves as the initial model. Unit-01 EVA, the main character of the series, is omnipresent in the design: his horned helmet on the short headband, his face on the bezel, and his right arm holding the Spear of Longinus - just before the throw - which extends from the lower bezel to the long headband. The sophisticated surface finishing methods used by Casio precisely reflect Yamashita's detailed designs.

The watch face includes even more references that enthusiasts will appreciate. The dial marker placed at 9 o'clock is inspired by the third angel, Sachiel. A bold Y-shaped pattern on the dial reflects the CAUTION aesthetic present throughout the collection. Other features include "NEON GENESIS" on the strap buckle, the NERV symbol on the end of the strap, and the commemorative 30th anniversary logo engraved on the back of the case.
